Like any normal dog my Lucky loves food. He’s a rescue beagle-dachshund mix at 4 years old and while he loves food, it doesn’t always love him back. Things weren’t always this way, but in the last year he developed a food allergy to his normal food (probably a formula change). After trying numerous dog foods I finally found a food he could eat that didn’t result in itching and licking sprees that would later lead to numerous trips outside to eat grass. I don’t know what the ingredient(s) was in the other foods, but I am happy that the problem is finally solved. I have also discovered that Cesar has less kcals (348 kcal/cup) than his former food which is an added perk in addition to it being made & sourced in the US. In keeping to his daily plan of twice daily 1/3 cup + 1 teaspoon of cottage cheese, Lucky has been consistent at staying at his optimum current weight with no fluctuations. He loves all three flavors for variety (with real chicken or real beef as the 1st ingredient) and I am happy to have discovered there are 5 and 12 lb bags available online. Overall, Lucky is getting the same, if not better nutrition with fewer calories and is happier for it. He is also looking mighty fine if I must say so myself. His coat, skin, teeth, disposition and overall health has been exceptionally good since he has changed foods. Would I recommend this food? Yes! My dog loves it, his vet loves the change, and I love the price & value! Go for it!

Good choice so far…. after almost killing my dog by feeding him “Alpo” he was so sick after 2 days of alpo! Puking n pooping blood! Any1 wana team up and do a lawsuit against alpo email me.. Jennell1385@gmail.com. they settled out of court a few times already.. if ur dog is sick n ur feeding them alpo please stop n change the brand of food plz
