First off, this is not my first tent–I’ve had a huge number of tents including brands such as Big Agnes, Tarptent, Zpacks, Luxe, just to name a few.

This is a heavy tent for backpacking. Not going to lie. I just got home from a very wet hike. Both nights I thought that I had a good location but the rain proved me wrong. Two nights in a row the tub of this tents was like a waterbed. Absolutely none of my gear got wet. No kidding, both nights there was at least two inches of water under the tent.
